If you open the side bar and then close it again, the "grippy" disapears. This is a fairly recent bug.

Also reproduced on Linux using latest builds, Win98 & Mac okay. reassigning to evaughan as p3 for m11

The sidebar does not use my grippy it uses something else.
This seems fixed to me on Win and Linux 1999-08-24-0?-M10 builds. I'd seen it in older ones many times, though.

no i can't verify this on freeBSD because apprunner don't run anymore. If i can get apprunner to run i will joyfully do this test. pete
