Sometimes when I choose "view page source" it does not work. I get error
messages. These error texts are not produced by Mozilla, but by the remote server.
I think, when I see this error, my page is a dynamic one, and was produced by
the remote server using a post event. I suspect "view page source" does try to
request the page again. As the browser does not submit the post information
again (which is good), the remote server does not send the same content as are
currently displayed in the browser window. Therefore an incorrect page source is
shown.
I'd expect the browser to cache the contents of the page while it is being
displayed, to allow me to view the source, or to save it to disk. I assume there
is already some kind of caching, because the browser needs to memorize the page
anyway while it is being displayed. And printing does already give the correct
contents.
I suggest "view source" should access the same in-memory information.
