(Whiteboard: IFRAME scrolling problem fixed)

backgrounds not painting correctly. The yellow background of the left column is leaking into the middle column.

we can't even load this page correctly any more. I can't tell if its a parser bug or a content sink bug or a netlib bug, so I'm assigning it to Kipp for now. The symptom is that the page partially loads, and the rest never displays. The part that fails to load might be either the IFRAME content or the linked javascript?

Priority: P1 → P2
Changing priority: P1 means crash. The page doesn't crash.
Severity: critical → major
Summary: backgrounds not painting correctly → scrollbars shouldn't be shown
The IFRAME and a few table cells (!) have scrollbars around them for some weird reason.
Assignee: kipp → karnaze
Status: ASSIGNED → NEW
scrolling=no doesn't work anymore on this page and on home.netscape.com/download basically, wherever there are iframe's. I believe that this used to work and suspect it is a side effect of cleanups to the body/scrolling code made by troy. You should consult with him to make it work again.
Status: NEW → ASSIGNED
The scrolling is fixed, but there are still layout problems with tables, so I'll keep it open.

Whiteboard: IFRAME scrolling problem fixed
IFRAME scrolling problem fixed per karnaze but some layout problems still exist with tables. Please identify what the bug is now and should this one be closed out and a new one written up?

Resolution: --- → FIXED
I'll open another bug for the table problems.
Status: RESOLVED → VERIFIED
Using 3/19 build on all platforms, verifying bug fixed in regards only to extraneous scrollbars. karnaze@netscape.com indicates he will write up new bug for additional table bugs.
