Steps: 1) Open Editor 2) Click on some text that is not in bullets/numbers 3) Click on bullets or numbers icon. Notice the paragraph is now bulleted/numbered. 4) Click on the same icon again. Actual Results: Bullets/numbers formatting is not removed. Expected Results: This should remove the bullets/numbers from the text and align it normally. Build Date and Platform: WinNT on 8/24/99

changed subject since it's not undo in the txn mgr sense, but rather taking a list and removing the "list-ness" that's the issue here. Bijal, is that what you had in mind?

Just checked with today's build and notice that this does not work right. Steps: 1) Select some text 2) Click bold 3) Click bold 4) Click bold The shading of the Bold Icon does not match the actual text style. The Bold Icon is indented indicating that it is bold, but the text is not.

bij--the behavior you describe works for me on my mac (with bold or with bullet list). If you still see a problem, could you file a new bug? Also, please note what platform/os. thanks!! I'm going to resolve this bug as fixed since you can unlist bullets and numbers.

it works now...but there's still that problem of having to press unlist button twice before it actually does it...Joe knows about this... verified in 9/17 build.
