Details
For example, there appears to be a few hundred pixels of height above a table on
the netscape.com home page. Most of Mozilla.Org's table doesn't appear at all.
Similar problems on other tables pages like usatoday.com or news.com. Test 6
doesn't appear properly. Test 4 has the "super height" row that I see on
netscape.com.

I suspect a configuration/build error on the part of the submitter (or
whatever process angus used to get the binaries he tested this with.)
viewer works fine on several machines down here.
JE, I'm cc'ing you since it's a critical stability problem (or a critical
problem with our build process, also a Bad Thing), so you can hopefully help
angus track down this down asap.

To quote buster: "well, the optimized build is hosed on my machine too. at
least we've narrowed it down a bit. I'll look into it first
thing tomorrow am."
It turns out this is only a problem on optimized builds.

Resolution: WORKSFORME → FIXED
an uninitialized variable (conveniently always 0 in the debug build) bit me on
the butt.
