A couple of bug reports, where Perl can't locate the appropriate module files. From: Brian Idzik <brian_idzik@admin.state.ak.us> I've run into brick walls attempting to get Perldap running on either Solaris or NT. All examples fail with compilation errors. Both NT & Solaris abort with following error(s): Can't find Mozilla/LDAP/*.pm in @INC... I've followed the checklist to install the 3.0 C SDK & PerLDAP-1.0, & set the LD_LIBRRARY_PATH variable in both OSs, but neither install works. The directory servers are working fine. The closest I've come is by copying all the library files to just about every path under the Perl installed on NT. That results in the following error(s): "Can't find loadable module in D:\..../Mozilla/LDAP/????.pm" I'd prefer to use the Solaris where at least the directory separators will be consistent. Has anyone got a better checklist for installing this than provided by Netscape? I really want to use this, but can't seem to get get anything coherent out of the install. Thanks in advance for any assistance.
