After the user clicks on this alert to download the page, the alert should go away, even if the user doesn't download and the alert is still on everybody else's computer.

moving to after beta

Although it is OK that a beta 1 user continue to get the same flash to upgrade to beta1a, but when someone gets beta 1a, will they still be getting the flash to upgrade to that same beta 1a build that they are using? We need to plan on how to avoid that. Perhaps the server side reads the version # and gives the appropriate alert.
