Details

From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:0.9.9) Gecko/20020311 BuildID: 2002031104 Message dates getting set to "6/2/2101 6:28 AM", after importing large number of messages from Eudora 5.1. I imported all my old mail from Eudora 5.1 using "File->Import..." (~40MB including some attachments, several thousand messages in about 30 folders), and proceeded to move the messages into their new folders in mozilla mail. After moving the messages from Eudora's imported "Out" folder into "Sent" and "Draft", the valid dates on these messages started to become corrupt. Gradually, all messages in the "sent" and "drafts" folders had dates of "2/6/2101 6:28 AM". After closing and reopening mozilla mail several times, i am now noticing this date appearing on more and more messages in many other folders. Additionally, for my most recently composed message (composition was done in Eudora), when I click "Edit Draft...", the message window is empty, although the preview window still shows the full message text (despite the visibility of html tags). This did not happen with the other drafts I checked, regardless of whether those messages did or didn't have the date symptom. I tried composing a new message in mozilla mail (leaving it in the drafts folder), to see if it's date will corrupt, but it has not done so thus far... Reproducible: Didn't try

dup of bug 73694, which is fixed in 1.0 RC1 - My guess is that you have to re-import the folders to fix the dates. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 73694 ***
