Details
Build ID: 1999100108
Platform: Windows NT
The Preferences have degraded significantly in this build. Here's a short list
of problems I've found:
- When you first open the Prefs, a single click on any of the categories should
display that category. This is not working for any of them
- You should be able to move the window by clicking and dragging in the title
bar. This is not working (but alt+space m cursor keys is).
- Occasionally double-clicking on a category header will collapse the list but
allow you to see the category.
- Similarly, double-clicking in, say, the Home Page prefs will highlight all of
it, but then you can use the cursor keys to change it.
Summary: Preferences window not working correctly → [PP] Win32 - Preferences window not working correctly

note: this exists in M10 builds. Do we want to ship with this? Very ugly.

I'm quite sure this is #15596 (Modal dialogs don't accept input)
It think most of these are the modal dialog problems
single clicking is working for me
clicking and dragging the title bar works
double clicking and collapsing works for me
The last one works for me also.
Most of these problems are xul problems.
I wish we had a set of xul test cases to test against.
I take this back...in M10..this is really bad...very unuable. Let's consider at
least for M10.

Bulk move of all Pref UI component bugs to new Preferences component. Pref UI
component will be deleted.
