Both the streaming JPEGs and the Webcast streams. And the bottom right selections are supposed to launch separate windows which do not work.
All is well in Netscape 4.61 or 4.7.
still an issue in 10/29 build...valid bug...
Don, please re-assign...

The separate windows seem to be working now, so the only problem seems to be
with the images.
I don't know a thing about streaming JPEG or Webcast streams, so I'm moving this
to ImageLib as an educated guess. Also marking All/All since I see it on Linux.

Whoever moved this to ImageLib didn't assign the QA contact to me. Now assigned
correctly.
There are several problems that cause this ImageConsumer doesn't request the
decoder in CanHandleContent, the stream decoder nsMultiMixedConv doesn't support
binary data, and ImageConsumer or combined related things can't take multiple
OnStart/OnStop as noted in #18330 which is a dup of this.
The first is trivial to fix of course, the second took a little work to get going
(I can get one image from the screen to decode), and I haven't figured out the
third part yet other than of course it shouldn't be destroying the objects it
does if data is still coming. I'm sure you can imagine what kind of time it
takes for a newbie to figure out the process of it all..
(I'm working on this omission.) -kiel
Thanks for jumping in.
Be forewarned that changes to document loads that have
gone in recently will probably affect you....and some of
those changes created !>new<! improved bugs in the data
stream handling.
and I'll post here if I get newer info. or have a chunk of
time to devote to this one.
and
thanks again.

I think http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=29643 is the root of the
problem now.

and remember:
"Mozilla testers should continue to report bugs to Bugzilla. Netscape
6.0 PR1 testers should not report bugs to Bugzilla. Users of Netscape
6 can at any time open the Help menu and choose Feedback Center to
fill out a Feedback form. This form will be submitted to Netscape
rather than Mozilla. I repeat, please do not submit bugs you discover in
the preview release of the Netscape browser to Bugzilla, use Help ->
Feedback Center. "

Unfortunately, the Netscape 6 feedback site does not answer!

I resteted this in Milestone 16. The Webcast videos work now. But the GTS
videos (top of page) do not. In fact, the browser crashes when any of the 4
reload buttons are pressed.
A related URL http://www.ornl.gov/doe2k/mmc_cameras/ (and pick one of the PTZ
Control links, works the first time. But when any of the controls are clicked,
the image disappears.
