I saw there is "Ask me before downloading more than 50 msgs" for newsgroup by default. And I knew that there was a bug#13930 regarding the account setup for the newsgroup download. I still open this bug since this is enhancement for the bug#13930. Right now, I can see the download information on the UI, but the functionality still not work yet.... and also need to add the download headers dialog in order to perform bug#13930 functionality.

more of this is working, but there is still some left todo. 1) ok works, cancel doesn't cancel. (cancel acts as ok) 2) get download all to work (it doesn't, it actly like you didn't check download all even if you did) 3) fix the ui. the text is cropped in various places and it overall looks bad. the good news: 1) the max_articles and the mark_old_read are heeded (on a per server basis) mark old read may not be working, I haven't tested yet. still not worth fully testing yet, this is just and update.

Actually, this dialog already displayed.... there ia bug#26246 for tracking cancel/download all functionality.

Sorry, it should be bug#26146! Even there was bug for "subscribe.." dialog, I still mark this bug as verified since the "download headers dialog" already displayed for all platforms long time ago. Marking as verified for this bug and will use bug#26146 for tracking the "cancel" and "download all" functionality of the download headers dialog.
