In the today's build 1999-19-18-M11 i', not able to type into plain text message body.
There is general failure to accept any input into Plain Text editor since last Friday or thereabouts. Applies to ASCII or non-ASCII text input. Is there any bug filed for this? This bug should be a duplicate of that bug.

If it's a general problem with the text control (is that what you're saying, kat?), then it belongs to the editor group. Reassign to beppe.
Yes. This is general failure for Plain Text Editor. All input is disabled in that Editor and Mail Editor for Plain Text.

this looks a lot like #15313 (the editor has no <body> so no key events are being handled in it. actually there isn't an nsEditor initialized for the window). I'd like to mark it a duplicate. Any objections?
Kathy, when I filed Bug 15313, I was able to input into the Plain Text Editor fro Mail but the input disappeared upon send. This bug prevents even the initial input. Did Bug 15313 change into this generic input failure from its original status?
