Worksforme!
I tried "Composer with Test Page" on the Debug menu and it brings up the
editor test page in Composer. It was moved from the task menu to Debug so
the "Composer" item on Tasks menu brings up blank page, as it should.
Please test again.
charley are you sure you have a recent pull? I just tried
it again with today's 11/5 build and I still don't see
the old content get loaded in an editor window..I just
get a blank editor window...

I just pulled and did a clobber build and I still see the proper editor test
page when I use "Composer with Test Page" from the Debug menu in either the
browser or composer menus.
Mike: Is you're current build OK?

this is a mystery Charley...I just showed Mike what I'm seeing...
are you sure its being packaged with optimized builds?
I don't know what else to say about this bug...it does
work fine on Linux and MAc..

You're probably right - I bet EditorInitPage.html isn't packaged. Look for it
in the editor's chrome directory.

I'm looking into the chrome/editor/content/default directory and I don't
see this file...Charley you can reopen this bug...

I don't see any reason to reopen the bug -- this is supposed to be used only
with debug build, so it shouldn't be included in distribution.
Let's leave it as a dead snake, right Mike?
