Details

Build 1999-10-18-09-M11(WIN), 1999-10-18-12-M11(MAC), 1999-10-18-08-M11(LINUX) 1. Launch SeaMonkey and choose Preferences from the Edit menu 2. Select Software Installation from the Category list 3. Uncheckbox Require manual confirmation of each install 4. Click OK button to save change 5. Open http://jimbob/trigger2.html 6. Trigger any jar/xpi file from the drop-down list RESULT: XPInstall confirmation dialog appears. EXPECTED RESULT: No dialog appears. Jar/xpi file is executed, and installation occurs.

Bulk move of XPInstall (component to be deleted) bugs to Installer: XPInstall Engine
spam: added self to cc list as this might affect my realm.
We're not going to do this one for this release, so we should remove the option from the preference dialog
manual confirmation is out.
