Changing the text of a menu or changing from disabled to enabled is broken on Windows. It still works on the Mac but is no longer working on Windows. I am going to mark this as a blocker bug for M11 because it prevents some of the menu items from ever becoming enabled. We (probably saari) can either solve this bug for M11, or we (probably hangas) must install a workaround to all of the menu items that are not being enabled because of the real bug.

Chris, sending this bug to you. We now have an additional M11 blocker depending on either this bug or some creative hack.

Could be. I have a fix for 17847 (commandupdaters not working) in my tree. hangas: can you tell me how to reproduce and I'll see if it'a dup?
