We have component icons in task switch at the bottom of Navigator for Navigator, Mail, Addressbook, and Composer, but no icon for Instant Messenger yet. Also, the IM component icon should launch the standalone IM window. These icons are consistent on all component windows. The behavior of this IM icon in the task switch should be to bring to focus the Stand alone IM window. Therefore, we do not want to launch another instance of it. Similarly, the standalone IM window will not need to have it's own icon in its task switcher because it would not make sense to launch yourself from yourself if you can only have one instance of yourself. Anyway, German and the UE team will need to determine how this would be handled. Should we launch the Standalone IM window or the IM Compose window?
I believe it should launch the standalone. German - can you send me an icon so I can hook this up?

Putting on PDT- radar. You can use AIM...icon not needed for dogfood.

The standalone should be launched! The icon has been delivered. Re-assigning back to alex if he needs anything in addition, if not lets just close this puppy. Icon is done right?
