Going to any page which has popup widgets results in transient windows flashing in the upper right corner of the screen while the page is being loaded and rendered. The bugzilla query page is a good example of this, with even more transient windows at the origin of the content area. I didn't see this last week, so it was probably the result of the superwin landing. Tested on a 11/18 afternoon CVS pull, solaris/gcc, gtk+-1.2.6.
I've seen this on Macintosh as well (though the edit widget will eventually paint itself in the proper location).
Isn't this an XP bug? This probably shouldn't be assigned to me. I'll bet there's another bug open on this, too.

Trudelle should figure out who this bug belongs to. It appears to be an XP bug according to other people.

Component: XP Toolkit/Widgets → HTML Form Controls
I think you're talking about the select elements. I don't see this on Win98, very little on Mac, but it is awful on Linux. These are HTML form controls, not XPToolkit widgets, reassigning.

Reassigning to Rod.

changing QA contact but also marking VERIFIED fixed. I looked at a Solaris 12-JAN build and a 2000011313 Linux build.
