Details
Applies to build 1999111808
(win32 as well as linux)
The rt click menu [Back, Forward, Reload, Stop, ...] appears in the extreme
upper right hand corner of my display (my resolution is 1472x1104, wm is e
DR.16.2) when I right click over an input box such as this one for mozilla.
This does not happen in the win32 build.
Outside the box (and this does happen with the win32 build). Most of the time,
the context dialog appears 20 pixels to the left of the cursor, and centered)
The menu would be better if it appeared so the "back" was right under the cursor
when right clicking.

[VerifyDay] Doesn't seem like a duplicate of bug 16388 to me. That bug deals
only with contextual menu problems on pages with frames, whereas the test case
for this bug (the Bugzilla new bug page) has no frames.

This is not a dup. You're right (although there are problems with things like
SELECTS that are dup of bug 16388).
The behavior I see is that the menu is positioned correctly the first try
(perhaps this is before the editor is activated) and then in the extreme upper
left corner of the Mozilla window (not the offset from the view or webshell
corner translated to an offset from the window corner, which is the other bug).
Reopening, changing component to HTML Form Controls, and reassigning.

It works fine on WIN32 The context menu appears with it upper left hand corner
at the cursor position. There must be a platform specific problem with placing
the popup menu under Linux. Marking as [PP][Linux] and re-assigning to waqar.
