Overview Description: When moving mouse pointer inside browser window it suddenly jerks up or down, messing up everything and making it virtually impossible to click on any link. Steps to Reproduce: 1) Fire up Mozilla 2) Go to any website (http://slashdot.org/ will do just fine) 3) Let the page render, scroll down a bit 4) Try moving mouse pointer 5) Enjoy the show Actual Results: Well, as said in overview description, the screen jumps up or down and all the rendering gets all messed up: pieces of graphics get into middle of the page, your actual location on the page is shown wrongly by a scrollbar, etc. Expected Results: I'd expect just being able to move mouse, scroll down, if necessary, then move a pointer some more--without anything getting messy. Build Date & Platform Bug Found: Seamonkey nightly build 1999113008, Debian GNU/Linux with 2.2.12 kernel on mobile PII-266 w/128Mb RAM (IBM TP 770E) Additional Builds and Platforms Tested On: This behavior was not noticed on pre-M11 and M11 releases. Additional Information: None
This seems to have gone away: SeaMonkey 1999120608 works fine.
Reassigning all of leger's unscreened Browser-General bugs to nobody@mozilla.org for pre-screening and triage.
andyelf@yahoo.com, can you confirm that this problem is no longer occurring with a current build? Thanks! This looks like one of those temporary glitches that come and go...
Confirm works fine with M12 and the 2000010416 nightly.
