Verified as worksforme on linux, macos, and win32 using the following builds: ftp://sweetlou/products/client/seamonkey/windows/32bit/x86/1999-12-08-09-M12/bac kup/install.exe ftp://sweetlou/products/client/seamonkey/unix/linux_glibc/2.2/x86/1999-12-08-08- M12/netscape-i686-pc-linux-gnu.tar.gz ftp://sweetlou/products/client/seamonkey/macos/8.x/ppc/1999-12-08-08-M12/netscap e5-mac-M12.sea.bin I did notice that on Win32 it does not update the title until you tab out of the subject field or you press Enter. On Mac and Linux, they update the title as you type. I'll log a bug on this parity issue.
fyi, I verified the bug on win32 because it does update in real time when you are back spacing. It updates on real time on linux and macos.
Logged parity bug 21199 against windows platform. http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=21199
