Menus do not work properly when using X-Mouse

Details
I have Microsoft's TweakUI Control Panel Applet installed. It includes an option
to enable X-Mouse functionality (focus follows mouse - similar to KDE's sloppy
focus). With the X-Mouse enabled, I cannot click on a menu and then click on an
item. As soon as I move the mouse over the menu, the menu disappears.
Workaround: Click and hold on the menu, then drag to the required menu item
before releasing the mouse button.
