I find that using the same identity preferences for both mail and news is cumbersome. One is required to change information every time he or she switches between sending mail and sending news if one does not wish to use the same info. I don't like posting my real address to USENet due to SPAM problems. There are also a million other reasons one might want to use different info for each. A checkbox could also be included to use the same info for both if desired. Thanks.

Mozilla already has separate identity prefs for each mail or news server.
