using build 1999121508 on win98 this was also tested on NT and win95 (they both work) Akkana is checking out linux build 1. open mail 2. select New Message 3. open another application such as Word, and display an existing document 4. select some text from the existing document, and select copy 5. set focus within the new mail compose document 6. select paste from Edit|Paste or use ctrl-v Result: nothing gets pasted into the mail compose window, the text is in the clipboard - I can paste it into notepad Expected: I expected the text to get copied into the mail compose window

Works fine on Linux, both with this morning's commercial build and with my debug build updated this afternoon. Works fine on my NT debug build pulled this morning. Incidentally, I'm doing plaintext paste (no linux apps except Mozilla support html copy. :-)

Testing on Win 98 and Mac9.0, using the 12/15 build: Copy/paste by control-c and control-v: works. However, Edit/paste in 5.0 mail compose does NOT work. Bug behavior was seen on both platforms tested.
