this didn't occur for me --marking as WFM. tested on winNT using 2000-011408 comm bits). (what did happen: after entering my ebay username/passwd, an alert dialog appeared saying "cgi1.ebay.com could not be found. Please check the name and try again." mebbe something wrong with the ebay server, methinks...)
