The underline for links is not being inherited correctly. All text, regardless the text color setting is getting assigned an underline from the main page's LINK color which produces a rather nasty looking effect on some pages. http://www.news.com will illustrate, all black text'ed links have a blue underline even though the span is in between the anchors.

i'm just taking a quick guess here as to what might be wrong. i doubt that it's actually a rendering problem...
