I've just took a look at fenella's machine and it appears that the account information for her default account was empty which explains why she wasn't able to see the sender. However, we may have a migration problem here. Anyway, I am closing this bug as invalid.

I did a new migration using today's build. The account information for the default account is fine now. So when I open the Compose window, the sender is listed. My apology for now checking the account information first. Close this bug.
