Compose a new mail and attach a file to the mail. Now send it to yourself. Now
take the newly arrived mail and it as "forward as attachment" to yourself.
The new mail now only have "forward.msg" as attachment and it's impossible to
see that the origional mail had an attachemnt.
Attached is a image of both the 4.7 and Mozilla mail

Ah, it was your use of "forward inline" in bug 23112 which threw me off track.
That's the name of a feature which is the opposite (?) of forward as attachment.
I agree that we need to provide access to attachments in forwarded messages. I
thought RichP would already have a bug on that, but I don't see one, so
reassigning this one to him.

Ok, I have this fixed in my tree. Now you should get a nice menu entry
in the pulldown for the attachments in sub-messages. I'll check this in when
the tree opens for M14. If anyone wants to try this out, I'll post the patch.
Apply the patch from the same level as your mozilla directory.

Ups... I attached the wrong mail. The mail I attached works. But the new mail
that I just attached DOESN*t give me the option to save the attachmend in the
forwarded mail. The attachment "test.txt" should appear in the dropdown, but it
doesn't...
Actullay you can just take the last attachment and forward it to yourself.
