Could you find a good artist to draw a cool icon for Mozilla? Or just convert an existing one to the *.ico format and link it.
At this time, we don't have any resource at Netscape that can do the design. I am hoping that someone from the net can design one. You probably want to post this as an UI discussion to the ui newsgroup and see whether there is anyone interested in designing one.
Moving all UE/UI bugs to new component: User Interface: Design Feedback UE/UI component will be deleted.

For now couldn't we just use the dino we got on the side of the toolbar?
I thought someone already checked in a version of the "M" animation first frame for mozilla build. Am I wrong?
You are not wrong. There has been an icon for a while. Should be marked as FIXED.

Yup. An icon now exists. It's a completely inappropriate icon with no contrast on the gray backgrounds that it frequently appears upon (bug 26755), but there is an icon.
