It possible to do a mozilla -P <profileName> to get started with a profile of user's choice. If the profile name has spacein it, then use double quotes i.e., mozilla -P "my Profile". This should be documented when doing a mozilla.exe -help

The mozilla.exe -help text is NOT updated!

This probably needs to be reassigned, though I'm not sure who the owner is. Vera isn't the one to add it to the -help options. By the way, shouldn't the spelling be ProfileName, to be consistent with the style of the other options? Vera, see me if you want to see exactly where this appears.

McAfee, I believe you're The Man on this (cool, you've apparently written help text per lxr...you're now an auxiliary member of the Info Design group). Reassigning. I guess the option is "-P <profile name>", though I couldn't get that to work for me. Seems like for consistency with the other profile options the option should have been -ProfileName <profile>. But if -P works, no problem. BUT, one last minor point...Is there some case-sensitivity to the options? The other single-letter ones are lowercase, so maybe it should be "-p".

build now says -P <profile> Start with <profile>. We need to be consise to try and fit this in a dos shell window, that's short & sweet. Fixed.

In todays build 2000020414 the: mozilla.exe -help doesn't do anything!

Filed new bug 26781 for this reopened bug, marking this fixed.
