What should probably have been text [I don't know, I haven't seen the way it is supposed to look] appears to be dotted horizontal lines. Moving the mouse around causes other floating bits to pop up, but they are laying out incorrectly (to an extent) as well.

Well, the very small white lines are the "intro" text that should be displayed. There are three of them: "intro1", "intro2", and "intro3", and they all have "line-height:1px" specified. The CSS2 spec says that "When the 'line-height' value is less than the font size, the final inline box height will be less than the font size and the rendered glyphs will "bleed" outside the box" We don't seem to be doing that
Setting all current Open/Normal to M4.

The basic layout looks fine now; however, the page doesn't render properly (on linux at least) when you mouse over the large white text... Michael - can you verify that the compositor is doing the right thing when the visibility of various objects is changed?
