Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040113 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040113 I've successfully imported email from Eudora 6.0.0.22. When message are plain text, everything is OK. When messages contain HTML tags, those tags will be displayed instead of parsed and used to build an HTML page. Thus, a lot of message are displyed incorrectly. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. Some messages are displayed correctly. 2. In general, I've open the Inbox File with a text editor, and I've seen the adding "Content-Type: text/html" wherever missed, wuold solve the problem. 3. Those message usually have something like: [...] MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-transfer-encoding: 8bit <html> [...] Actual Results: After having added "Content-Type: text/html", i.e making the page look like: [...] MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-transfer-encoding: 8bit Content-Type: text/html <html> [...] the page was displayed correctly in the Mail Client. Expected Results: Add the header Content-Type: text/html to the imported HTML mail. I've imported my home email in Mozilla. I won't do it with my work one, until this bug is not fixed.
There is an application that will fix those messages but teh desciption is only in german. But you can ask the developer for an english description : http://katastropoulos.gmxhome.de/EudoraMozillaImportFix/
