In a posting today, you mentionned that you put a minimal font size for html text. This should be applied to controls too: - Go to Yahoo - Look at the "Enter Zip Code" button at the bottom and compare with Communicator ==> The font is almost too small to be readable

I did this. But the controls still look crappy, because they are using fonts like Courier or the system font, that do not draw well at 9pt. 4.5 probably uses Geneva for these small font sizes.

on build 99032308 (March 23), apprunner's font choice for yahoo.com was too small. on build 99032614 (March 26), it is even smaller. what was illegible before is now practically impossible to read. am i missing the point of this bug? I am hesitant to verify this bug as it is.

Actually, this bug refers to the size of the font used in form controls (native buttons) on Mac. I fixed the size issue, but there may still be problems with the font used. Reassinging to pierre to check this out.

It works for me in yesterday's builds: the size is right. The font is still Helvetica instead of Times as in Communicator but I think it's a feature not a bug. Closed as WorksForMe. If you are still seeing the problem, please reopen and send me a mail with more information about your system (Macsbug 'stdlog' is fine) and some screen snapshots.
