Many folks are complaining that cvs.mozilla.org is painfully slow. Since cvsup seems to be helping on cvs-mirror, we should try and get it going on cvs, and see if it plays nice with users who want to do commits also.

cvsup is rather painful to use for updates. Files checked out with cvsup needs to be converted before you can use with cvs. I recommend following if cvs is too slow: co's from cvs-mirror that should be < 6 minutes lagged almost anytime (except around 1am 6-10minutes). And writes to cvs. All this can be done by changing CVSROOT, or using -d option with cvs. I am going to address cvs's performance sometimes soon but at the moment I really wouldn't want to waste cycles with cvsup on cvs anymore. On cvs-mirror it's nice add-on service. Also, having other cvs-mirrors will be addressed in another ticket.
