This happens on all platforms. The truth is, we do what nav and IE do, so I don't plan to address this.

Rick, I ran this test case under Mac Comm 4.7 and Mac I.E. 4.5 which both rendered the TM entity in the title.I was expecting the same results in Apprunner.

Ahh -- on the PC the TM renders as a vertical bar in both Nav and IE. I'll ask one of our mac guys to look into the font issue.

Waqar -- this looks like a font bug on mac. Can you take a look?

I see the problem, and investigating.

After investigating I found that the problem is HTMLContentSink::ReduceEntities does not convert the entities correctly to Unicode.

After talking to momoi@netscape.com and nhotta@netscape.com, it was concluded that the user should be using & trade ; entity, which is not working on the mac at this time. Naoki has a bug# 24948 that is dealing with this issue. I am resloving this bug as a invalid.
