Hi, I cannot test bug 24480 that was fixed with the 1/21/2000 build. I am still able to run build: 1999122023 but cannot run the build on 1/21/2000 or later.(I downloaded and installed build tonight as well(1/26/2000 @ 11pm CST). I am getting an error message that "XPCOM.DLL file is linked to missing export KERNEL32.DLL:GetFileAttributesExA" I have duplicated this error numerous times. I have tried unzipping it a few times. Deleteing previous build from my PC then unzipping new build. I tried deleteing my mozilla profile under c:\windows. Nothing has worked. Mike
I am also able to run build 2000011808. Mike

godsham, have you run the seamonkey32e installer, or are you just decompressing the archive?
I have just been decompressing. I was looking around for crashing tips on running because I swore I had seen them before but I could not find them. I thought I remember something about a utility to run if you could not start mozilla. I will try running the SeaMonkey Installer cause that was probably it. Thanks for taking the time to respond. If it works I will change the status of this bug.
Have just downloaded m13 build and used SeaMonkey Installer. Problem fixed. Using mozilla to enter this note. Thanks for the help!

This was bug #25028 -- "XPCOM.DLL linked to missing export KERNEL32.DLL:GetFileAttributesExA" -- but it is fixed now. godsham@ntsource.com FYI, this was due to the use of a win32 API (GetFileAttributesEx) that is not available on win95 ... the fix was to not use this call.
