I use Win NT 4.0 with SP 6. I installed M13 version of Seamonkey using the installer exe. I configured the preferences to my proxy server. For every frame / page it downloads, it asks for the proxy server password again and again. I tried it with number of pages. For each page it asks for the proxy server (realm) name and password. I tried checking and unchecking the "Save Password" option. It does not change anything.

Maybe I should add in details about my proxy : It is a SQUID Proxy running on SuSE Linux. (Unfortunately, I don't know the versions). When Using other browsers like IE (yes, I do sometimes use IE) and Netscape, It just asks for the Username/Password for the proxy only Once per session.
this seems like a dupe of bug 8559, however that bug is marked fixed. gani.bhagavathula@lssi.org: did you try restarting mozilla? According to bug 22381 you need to restart mozilla in order to activate proxy preferences.
Component: Browser-General → Networking
This looks very much like a DUP of bug 24329, "Make proxy auths persistent.", M14, PDT+. Marking as DUP *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 24329 ***
