Build ID: 2000012601 (M13) Platform: PowerBook G3/300, 128Mb RAM, VM off. The linked page at Apple's tech publications moves to the correct anchor using Netscape Communicator 4.7, but moves to the wrong anchor using M13. - Adam
Bug also occurs in build 2000012812 on Windows 98 SE. It only occurs on first visit to the page. A reload makes the window scroll to the correct position.
OS: Mac System 9.0 → All
Hardware: Macintosh → All
Looks like what happens is that the document comes in incrementally and as it does the anchor position moves Looks like the scrolling code is keeping the scroll offset constant rather than keeping the same element at the to of the visible area
