Hi,
I have the following problem when I want to open a file from my local harddisk.
When I type the following into the location-bar:
file://c:\java\jdk1.2.2\docs\index.html, he automaticly changes this into:
file:///file|//c|/java/jdk1.2.2/docs/index.html en nothing happens anymore, only
a blank page is displayed. When I don't type file:// in front of the file I want
to open everything works fine. I use the following build of mozilla: 2000012520.
I'm alse using Windows98SE.

looks like dup of one of the many url parsing bugs that
should be verified after the checkin today. I'll let
tever mark it fixed or dup.

This exact problem is not reproducable on my current build but there
are other parser problems. It doesn't work but I don't get the invalid
URL described. 18148 should cover url parsing. Marking this invalid
for now.
