Ever since Mac OS builds with an actual installer (rather than just an archive), there's been builds listed as: * Installer * Install .bin However, the "Installer" builds are actually just a decompressable archive, and the Install .bin builds are actually builds that include a full installer. I'd suggest consistency with other platforms listed. (e.g. "Installer" for the MozMacInstaller build, and something like "StuffIt Archive" for the mozilla-mac- mxx builds) CC:ing sfraser who probably knows the standard phrases for these types of installations from his years of experience writing shareware.
Are you sure this is wrong? We already went through this once a few days ago with people complaining that they were backwards so I changed them. Did you try shift-reload?
Yup. Shift-reloaded.
This bug has not been touched for more than nine months. In most cases, that means it has "slipped through the net". Please could the owner take a moment to add a comment to the bug with current status, and/or close it. Thank you :-) Gerv
Is this meant to be for the page in question in the URL field, or is it for the current release?
The text on the current releases page reads: talkback enabled Full Installer (11.7 MB) for reporting crash data. If you don't understand what the other MacOS builds are, then get this build. .bin Self Extracting Archive (11.3 MB) talkback enabled net installer (256 KB) This build downloads and installs only the components you specify. Makes sense to me. Fixed?
