I don't know how but somehow I've gotten into a state where I have to re-login to bugzilla every time I submit a bug. On a related note, I cannot log into my.excite (filing a seperate bug now, though maybe it's) because it tells me I have to enable cookies to log in.

I just looked at my cookies file, turns out it had many duplicate lines... there were 262 lines in the file, but when uniquified, there were only 91. my bugzilla cookies were repeated at least twice. I remember this problem from the 4.x days, could it have possibly come back?

I had tested by piping my cookies.txt through sort -u, I'm going to try now with no cookies file, see what that does.

Another test to ignore. Unfortunately the nature of this bug requires that we keep making bug-report entries in order to reproduce it, so these tests are necessary.

I was unable to reproduce this behavior in the two test that I just performed. First test asked me to log into bugzilla (as expected) and I did. Second test did not ask me for a bugzilla login. This is with a tree that I just pulled a few hours ago so whatever problem there was must have gotten fixed. Marking as works-for-me.

I should add that I'm not sure what mechanism bugzilla is using for deciding when to ask for re-login. It's not based on expired cookies because the cookies that they set have an expiration date in the year 2029. Yet I'm frequently asked to relogin (with the 4.7 browser) at what appear to be random times. So I suspect that these relogin requests are being generated by the server based on something other than cookies.
