using 1/27 build. Launch client Do File | Open it brings up another browser window with all kinds of garbage in it. Sometimes even crashes.. on Windows, it brings up the file dialog.

sujay, please check with 02/08 build.

On my debug build from 2/8, the Open menu in viewer does bring up the file dialog, but selecting a file and hitting OK on that dialog doesn't actually do anything (it doesn't try to load the document). So although it actually does bring up a dialog, I'd consider this still an open bug; we should either reopen this bug, or file a new one on the fact that the file dialog does nothing.

Okay, I've filed http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3079 about the dialog not working and hanging the app.
