I started up mozilla and got to the ordinary mozilla news page. Then I used the bookmarks-menu with submenus from "Imported IE favorites", to get to slashdot with automatic login. There I clicked a link in an article (http://www.3dhardware.net/features/dvdead). When after that clicking the back-arrow button, it brought me to the start page of mozilla news.
This sounds a lot like bug 10648...
