Actually, I think this menu item is supposed to toggle the thread pane/ message pane splitter. I have a fix for this in my tree.

Ninoschka - I think there is a general bug (don't know if filed or not) about checkmarks not showing next to menu items. For example, in Compose window, take a look at any of the menu items under Options menu. If you select an item, there is not a checkmark to denote that the item was selected. Can you file a new bug?

Verified Fixed. I will check if there is a bug already logged regarding the checkmark problem. If not found then I will log a bug. Thanks!
