-mail is no longer launching into messenger.
now it launches right into browser.
on a related note, the "general.startup.mail" pref is not being heeded.

maybe your changes to nsCategoryManager.cpp?
Is this Linux only, Seth?
Bug http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=27287 was fixed recently for Mac
equivalent of the -mail command.

It's working for me on Windows... Did you blow away the component.reg just in
case some of the self-registering code in the CategoryManager needs to re-run?
