Using viewer on Linux with anything slower than a 266MHz machine and trying to load www.developer.com can be a painful experience. go to developer.com the page looks like it's loading fine. After all the content is layed out Seamonkey then attempts to load the background image. I get the feeling it's incrementally reflowing the page as it lays out the image which could be why it takes so long. Win and Mac don't seem to do it this way and they have no problem displaying the background image quickly. linux build 99033

the background seems ok, but its slow as crap doing anything else on this page.

I'm not seeing any of the strange behavior from before (as of Mar23 build) so I'm going to resolve this WORKSFORME. I believe we can track the 'slow as crap' issue elsewhere.
