When I create link on Unix I always get "Insert link (or so)" on my right hand mouse button. When I create link on win I get "Create Link Using Selected ..." when there's a selection or "Insert New Link ...". I think it's better to be consistent.

I don't think this bug is relevant with XPFE in new codebase. If you think it is, please open a new bug under browser product. Gracias. Marking resolved won't fix in MozillaClassic codebase.
