This applies to all platforms Currently, only Collected Address Book and Personal Address Book are included in the HTML Send search engine. New Address Book that is created by the user is not included yet. This bug is used to track this implementation.

Reassign to ducarroz. As long as that means users in the new AB aren't recognized as liking HTML, we can live with this for a little while.

Strange, as I don't cache anything, we should see new added entry as well.

Fenella, after adding a new card in the personnal AB, did you close the AB window before sending a message?

Are you referring to the bug we discussed yesterday? Yes. I think I had the AB dialog closed.

Fixed and checked in. As we stop the search as the first card found for a email address, we scan first the personnal address book, then others address books and finally the colected address book.

Linux (2000-06-02-08 M16) Win32 (2000-06-02-09 M16) Mac (2000-06-02-08 M16) To verify this bug.. here is the steps 1. Check Personal and Collected address to ensure that the user is not listed 2. Create a new Address Book and add a new card 3. In this new card, I uncheck the "Send email as palin text" box 4. Compose a message using HTML editor, and enter HTML rich text 5. Upon Send, the HTML dialog does not appear. 6. But when I check the "Send email as palin text" box, and repeat step 4. Upon send the HTML dialog shows up. This tells me it has searched the new card in the the New Address Book. Ducarroz, or Rich, I am going to mark this fixed. If I have missed something, please let me know.
