If you enter:

in Netscape the type of documents are also listed. Something like:
cp47_to_472ex.jar 7636 Kb Fri Feb 25 11:14:46 2000 Java Archive
logebog.doc 962 Kb Tue Feb 10 18:32:14 1998 WINWORD File
Please add this to Mozilla too!

I just marked it nsbeta2 because it's a feature. I think we can easily drop it.

is the Content-Type available to the XUL in the same way as Content-Length?

See also bug 20009, [rfe] ability to sort directory listings by type.
Is this bug specific to local directory listings, or would it work on ftp
listings?

if you can sort per file type you have to be able to see the filetype...:)
