I see this on today's commercial builds 1. Install and launch the browser 2. Select Edit->Preferences->Navigator 3. Set a new home page and press OK 4. Observe that the browser crashes. 5. If I try this again, then the browser does not crash and sets the home page correctly.

attepting to reproduce now. the pref is browser.startup.homepage since that is a "browser.*" pref, it could be a dup of another bug, let me go find it.

I don't see the crash anymore on today's linux and mac builds. Will check on windows.
