Actually, the linux version won't even rendered select elements. I wrote this up as a separate bug #2976.

thinking pierre has fixed this. need to check when we get a good build. re-open if this is still a problem.

It's fixed when clicking a popup menu but it still crashes when clicking a list object because the code is not there yet. I stuffed all these bugs under #2208 "form controls don't work".

petersen, please verify and write ab ug for the remaining problem if needed. Thanks!
